We recently celebrated ten years of Ops Boss® Coaching. I can hardly believe it! Rather than making a big splash, I wanted to quietly share this video message — a moment of gratitude, reflection, and vision for what’s next.
The message comes straight from my heart — from me, as the founder, visionary, coach, and the person who cares so deeply about this Ops Boss® community and the lives we impact together. A Decade of Gratitude and Growth
As Thanksgiving approaches, and we celebrate 10 years of Ops Boss® Coaching, I’ve been reflecting on our journey and the incredible community that made it possible.
Ops Boss® Coaching was born a decade ago from a simple yet powerful vision: to elevate operations professionals, to encourage them to earn and take their seats at the table, and to honor the critical role they play as leaders in every business’s success. We set out to change the mindset and vernacular around operations — and together with you, our incredible community, we have. We’ve helped operations leaders dream bigger, achieve more, and create impact that ripples far beyond their roles.
Ops Boss® 1.0 — Where It All Began
Ops Boss® 1.0 (as I call it) grew out of my 23 years as a DOO and COO of one of the nation’s top real estate teams — two decades spent mentoring other ops pros, hosting masterminds, and longing for higher-level education and community. That longing evolved into me flying across the country to teach and coach. It sparked a movement I never imagined would grow into a decade-long love story with the Ops Boss® community.
Ops Boss® 2.0 — Building the Coaching Community
Ops Boss® 2.0 began when I replaced myself on the real estate team and built Ops Boss® Coaching — a powerhouse team of coaches with huge hearts and brilliant minds. Together, we expanded 1:1 coaching, launched group programs, created a plethora of new content, classes, and webinars, and introduced the industry’s first Ops Boss® Leader Retreat — a 3-day, all-ops, by-ops, for-ops event. We helped build businesses, and more importantly build people. And one by one by one by one, we’ve changed the world.
The Leadership Incubator in Action
What I didn’t realize at the time was that we were quietly building a leadership incubator.
One of my greatest joys — and gifts — has always been seeing in others what they don’t yet see in themselves. Each coach and team member who joined us was already a boss in their own right, and each one grew even more into their brilliance through being part of our team. It’s been powerful to witness their confidence deepen, their voices strengthen, and their capacity to lead expand — inside and outside of real estate. Helping them rise has been just as fulfilling as serving our clients.
That’s what makes this next season so meaningful. Our Leadership Incubator is now coming full circle. with my encouragement, our coaches are stepping into new chapters — launching their own ventures, building movements, joining other organizations, and saying “yes” to the next bold call on their leadership. It’s everything we’ve been building toward: not to keep people, but to elevate them.
And that ripple effect extends far beyond our team. Our clients and community have grown into their own extraordinary influence. We’ve watched members of our Ops Bosses® Community launch into new industries, birth companies, take leadership roles with competitors, and create brand-new operations communities, events, and masterminds across the country.
Each of these stories — every new business, every new voice, every new space created — is proof of how deeply this work matters. The impact of Ops Boss® Coaching has never been confined to one company; it’s been about multiplying heart-centered leadership across the industry and beyond.
Ops Boss® 3.0 — Multiplying Impact
We are now stepping into Ops Boss® 3.0 — a season of multiplication, alignment, and purpose.
This next chapter has been thoughtfully designed in collaboration with our team and is rooted deeply in our values of faith, integrity, passion, growth, and authenticity. It’s not about doing more for the sake of more. It’s about doing what matters most — in ways that create greater impact, deeper transformation, and lasting legacy.
Ops Boss® 3.0 is a celebration of everything we’ve built — and everything still to come. The structure is evolving, but the heartbeat remains the same: equipping and empowering operations leaders to live and lead with excellence and heart. This evolution is not an ending; it’s a continuation of the mission we started a decade ago — to raise the standard of leadership in our industry, to model aligned and purpose-driven business, and to multiply light wherever we go.
Together, we’ve proven that heart and high standards can coexist. That leadership doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. And that the truest measure of success is not how tightly we hold on — but how far our impact travels once we’ve let go.
As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, I want to take this opportunity to share the journey we’ve been on — and where we’re headed next. You’ll be happy to know that we have been working together all year behind the scenes toward these updates, and we are thrilled with what’s happening. We’re excited to bring you along now as we continue to evolve and grow together.

- Taking a leadership role — alongside a friendly competitor — an opportunity I personally shared and encouraged them to pursue, with our full support

This is the leadership incubator we’ve been building for a decade coming to life — a testament to the excellence, heart, and brilliance of the Ops Boss® team. Every one of these moves represents the heartbeat of Ops Boss® Coaching in action — our mission to elevate people, not just programs.

Nothing changes about your experience. You’ll continue to work with your same trusted coaches, who will personally connect to share details. Your success remains our priority — the support you rely on stays the same.
What Will Christy be Doing?
At the same time, I’ll personally be focusing on highly selective elite coaching, mentorship, keynote speaking, writing, and personal adventures. (Message me NOW about speaking or coaching in 2026 — my spots are very limited and already filling!) The name, the values, the heart, and the impact of Ops Boss® all stay — it’s just the structure that’s evolving.
Why?
Some may wonder, ‘Why now? Are they struggling? Is Christy retiring?’ None of that is true. I’ve also had offers to purchase Ops Boss®, and it is not for sale.
So why evolve — after a decade of incredible growth, 10 straight years of profitability, and building the most respected operations coaching company in the nation?
Because God called — and I’ve learned His plans are always greater than my own.
A Personal Message from CBG
When I reflect on my career, I see a string of unexpected calls. God often surprises me, asking me to step into roles that feel uncomfortable — often asking me to lead when I’m most at home behind the scenes. (I am an Ops Boss® at heart, after all.) And yet, every “yes” has led me to a life I never imagined — bigger, bolder, and more beautiful than I could have hoped for.
Saying “YES”
- As a young college graduate from William & Mary, while many of my peers were heading to Wall Street or Capitol Hill, I thought I just wanted a “J.O.B.” instead of a career. That changed when I found myself leading operations for seven offices of a nationally ranked mortgage company across three states.
- My husband, with his M.B.A. in Finance, became — by choice — a stay-at-home Dad, and I became our family’s breadwinner. We were pioneers back in that era.
- I was then called to leave that career at a peak moment — after receiving a prestigious worldwide award from Chase — to be more present as a mom and wound up helping build my family’s real estate team into one of the top teams in the nation. We were one of the first teams ever to do $1 Billion in sales.
- At 56, I took my biggest leap yet — becoming self-employed for the first time and launching Ops Boss® Coaching.
An Aligned Life
If you know me, you know I strive to live an aligned life. I care less about optics and more about alignment — with my values, my goals, and the bigger picture. We’ve never done things the conventional way. Thinking outside the box is just how we’re wired. This next version of Ops Boss® is a brave, intentional, and countercultural move. It’s fully aligned with living what we teach. While it may not make sense to everyone from the outside, it makes perfect sense to me — and it’s the right next step.
After more than four decades in this industry — first as a participant, then as a coach — I’ve seen a lot of people living the life others tell them they should live. Doing the things everyone says you “should” do. I see so many people building lives that look incredible on the outside but leave them miserable on the inside. Choosing profit over peace, as if they can’t co-exist. They can. That perspective — seeing both the pitfalls and the possibilities — has shaped everything I do as a coach and a leader. It has allowed me to live life exactly as God calls, and it’s a life full of profound joy.
I’m deeply proud that Ops Boss® didn’t just mentor, train, and coach tens of thousands of operations leaders and their teams — we shifted the respect of an entire industry. We trademarked “Ops Boss®,” not simply as a title, but as a declaration of leadership and heart. We defined what it means to be an Ops Boss® — the confidence, competence, and courage to lead from behind the scenes — and we built a community known not just for its professionalism, but for its heart and soul.
When I reflect on the past 10 years, my proudest achievement is not the programs or classes — it’s the people. Watching our clients and our exceptional team of leaders grow, lean into their strengths, and create their own “new possibles” has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
An Intentional Life – Are You Ready Too?
I believe in designing life intentionally and saying yes when God calls you into a new season. I’ve proven that Ops Bosses® can live lives by design. It’s possible to build something great, lead with heart, and also have seasons of giving back without giving up the dream. I’ve lived that truth — and now I want to coach others even more deeply to it.
I live what I teach. The exercises I share in the Vision Your Future Like A Boss class led me to create Ops Boss® Coaching. And now, they’re leading me into this next chapter — serving Ops Bosses® in new ways while embracing personal adventures like three months in Paris with my college sweetheart and husband of 42 years, writing, creating, and being “Coco” to Levin-from-Heaven while soaking up the joy of Jasper.
Here’s to Ops Boss® 3.0 — the next decade of impact, leadership, and heart.
Ops Boss® was never about me — it’s always been about us: the clients, the coaches, the community. And we’ve never done things like everybody else. That hasn’t changed. As we step into Ops Boss® 3.0, I’m deeply grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey — and beyond excited for what’s to come.
Our world is starved for heart-centered leadership — and that’s exactly what we’re unleashing into the world.
As Buddha said: “Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”
